Privacy

Birth dates, selected dates, day counts, timestamps, UTC times, ages, intervals and copied text are processed in browser memory. They are not uploaded, placed in the URL or saved to localStorage. Navigating away or reloading clears them.

Optional analytics

On the exact configured production or staging hostname, Umami counts page visits and basic actions. It receives a fixed hostname, a fixed page path and a fixed action category such as a successful calculation. No dates, timestamps, UTC times, results, query strings, hashes, raw referrers or clipboard text are sent. Umami also processes the technical network information needed to serve its requests.

Analytics settings in the footer lets you opt out. The preference is saved in localStorage. QA self-tests save a sessionStorage exclusion flag. Browser Do Not Track and unavailable storage also turn analytics off. Local development and unapproved hosts send no analytics.

Voluntary feedback

Only the rating, fixed reason and message you choose to send are submitted together to our feedback service. Calculation inputs and results are never attached. Cloudflare Turnstile loads only when you submit feedback, to verify the request. Production feedback is retained for 90 days; test feedback for 7 days. QA and staging feedback goes only to the test service. Avoid including sensitive information.

Support is optional and one-time. PayPal loads only when you open the support dialog, and handles checkout under its own privacy terms. No dates, timestamps or results are sent to PayPal. The shared author button may show “Support InvisiChar”. Core calculations stay free.
